Cafayate is located in the province of Salta, in northern Argentina, about 3 hours south of the provincial capital, Salta. The nearest airport is the Martín Miguel de Güemes International Airport in Salta, approximately 190 km away.
By air: Fly to Salta airport and then take a transfer or rent a car.
By car: From Salta via Route 68, a scenic drive through the Quebrada de las Flechas.
By bus: Regular services from Salta and Tucumán.
